Michael A. Myers, M.D., F.A.A.D.
Board Certified Dermatologist Diplomate American Board of Dermatology Fellow American Academy of Dermatology	Dr. Michael Myers was born in Gary, Indiana but has been a resident of Florida since 1977 when he went into private practice. He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in pharmacy, Cum Laude Honors and was selected to become a member of the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honorary. He continued his studies of medicine at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and graduated in 1973. He was selected to become a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. After his residency in dermatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin from 1973 -1977, Dr. Myers became certified by the American Board of Dermatology and opened the first dermatology practice in Pasco County. He continues to practice in New Port Richey, FL. Dr. Myers has been practicing for over 25 years and is an expert in the treatment of diseases of the skin, hair and nails in all age groups. Although he has extensive training in cosmetic skin procedures his specialty is the identification and treatment of skin cancers. He holds Fellow status from the American Society of MOHS Micrographic surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology and the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Myers takes pride in providing outstanding patient care and commands of his staff the same treatment for his patients in all situations.

Theodore N. Fotopoulos, M.D., F.A.A.D.
Board Certified Dermatologist Diplomate American Board of Dermatology Fellow American Academy of Dermatology	Dr. Fotopoulos is a native of Greece but was raised in the United States since 1970. He graduated from the University of Tampa with Magna Cum Laude honors and proceeded to medical school at the University Of South Florida College Of Medicine. After completing residencies in both internal medicine and dermatology, he became board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and joined Dr. Michael Myers in practice in 1996. Dr. Fotopoulos is an expert in the treatment of diseases of the skin, hair and nails in all age groups. He received extensive surgical training at the University of South Florida and the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr. Fotopoulos has also had post-graduate training in skin cancer surgery and reconstruction MOHS Micrographic surgery and cosmetic dermatology. He holds Fellow status from the American Society of MOHS Micrographic surgery, the American Academy of Dermatology and the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Fotopoulos believes that the patient always comes first and is ready to provide the highest quality of ethical patient care!

Edgardo S. Mercado, MPAS, PA-C
Dermatology Physician Assistant	Mr. Ed Mercado, MPAS-PA-C is originally from the Philippines and retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after 23 years of service. While in the Coast Guard, he was sent and graduated Cum Laude from Duke University with a Bachelor of Health Science Degree as a physician assistant (1982). Upon retirement from the Coast Guard, in 1994, he worked in primary care and emergency medicine. In 1998 he obtained his Master in Physician Assistant studies with specialization in dermatology from the University of Nebraska in Omaha. He has been a Dermatology Physician Assistant since 1996 with extensive surgical assisting experience in MOHS micrographic surgery as well as general dermatology. He is board certified in primary care and licensed in the state of Florida. He is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, Naval Association of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. Mr. Mercado always believes in treating his patients the way he would like to be treated with kindness and respect.

Cheryl Crawford, Skin Care Specialist
Licensed Esthetician License # FB9721328	Cheryl Crawford joined our New Image Dermatology office in 2003. She has worked in the Dermatology field for over 13 years and is also a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association. Cheryl is licensed as a Skin Care Specialist and in the field of body wrapping techniques as well. She is certified to preform microdermabrasions, and specializes in chemical peels, facials and waxing. In the process of resolving many of the skin disorders of both the young and the mature, Cheryl has assisted our Dermatologists with other cosmetic procedures such as Botox, Collagen and laser treatments. As a Skin Care Specialist, Cheryl's main concern is to offer the care and personal touch she believes each patient deserves and expects while continually keeping abreast of any new and upcoming changes in the field of skin care. Upon leaving from their skin care encounter she desires that each patient feels revitalized with a renewed sense of self.
